Makeup Workshop: My MAKEUP ARTISTRY PRO COURSE Experience

Hey There! Welcome back to my blog! :)
I just wanted to share with you my 4 days Makeup Workshop experience with Makeup Artistry.

First off, I had so much fun with their workshop and I learned a lot from them. I learned new techniques, tips and tricks and a whole lot more with applying makeup.

I also learned that, even though I already know how to apply makeup on myself, I still find it hard to apply makeup to other people. Those two are of different kind.

Here are some of the photos I took during the 4 days workshop.

By the way, I saw this makeup workshop posted at groupon for only 3499 and It's valued at P18,450.00. I think it's a great deal for a PRO workshop, plus, it included 1 makeup palette from Makeup Artistry.

Models: Belle and Vince (My officemates who are very willing to model)

The workshop is a 20hr course which includes the following:
Day 1: Day and Night Makeup
In this course they taught us how to apply the open and closed banana (the makeup technique they use). Applying the day and night makeup to our model.

Day 2: Wedding Makeup
This makeup lesson is makeup for both groom and bride. They taught us how to do the groom's makeup (yey!).
It's my first time doing a man's makeup, so it took me a while to do it right. They have a very different shade compared to women. I had to mix 2 colors of foundation to get the correct shade (wew!)

Day 3: Black and White and Colored Photography Makeup
This one I found very hard. I had to deal with one color, which is the very hardest to deal with, Black eye shadow. I had to do it twice to get the correct shade and also deal with a very dark bronzer. it was hard at first but I got it in the end with the help of my instructors.

Day 4: Fantasy Makeup
This one deals with your artistic side, which I have very little of.. but I think I pulled it off at the end. I was happy with the result.
This look, I was going for Poison Ivy, but it's ok.. I just have to practice more.

Here is me with our Instructor Ms Vhie! She is very good with what she does (doing it for 8 yrs now). She taught us alot. I am happy with this workshop and hope to learn more from her in other workshop :)

Most of the makeup used in this workshop are provided by MakeupArtistry (foundations, Eyeshadows, Primers, Moisturizer, Cleanser, Powders, Concealers and Correctors).

That's all! I hope you had a good read :)

Thanks for visiting!have a blessed day!
