Review: Mouth Sore Medicine and Home Remedies

Mouth sore.. the most annoying thing and often time one of the most painful thing you can get. What causes this and how it can be treated, I'll be talking about it in this day's blog.

Hey There! welcome back to my blog.. thanks for visiting.. I just had the most painful mouth sore that I have ever encountered.. I am not really the kind of person to complain about mouth sore, I have been through this a lot during my retainer and braces days and during those time, I get mouth sore all the time, even 4 or 5 at a time but I don't complain and It doesn't bother me. I am one of those people who has high tolerance to pain.

But this time, I don't understand why its super painful.. I tried to ignore it cause I know it will go away, but when it came to the point that I can't even swallow without feeling that sharp pain, I know I had to cure it.

Here is what I used to cure my mouth sore (I still have it today but the pain lessen to a more tolerable stage).

I asked my mom to buy me a mouth sore medicine cause it already very painful, I wasn't even able to tell her properly cause I can't talk that much.. ("Ma, biri mo ko gamo.. sakih na" :| )

She came home with my brother with this cure. It's Canker mouth sore solution. I immediately prepared the item, asked my brother to open it cause it was wrapped in a plastic.

At the back you see directions on how to use it. I am telling you at first contact with this solution, I wanted to cry (there were tears building in my eyes). I felt my body weaken because of the pain. But after that, I was able to hold the cotton balls with product on my sore area for more than 20 seconds. It was painful at first but just bear with the pain and it will all be worthit.

This is how the container of the solution looks like, its in a very small bottle container and the solution itself is color pink.

This product helped alot, I'm so relieved that the pain has lessen. I still have the sore visible but it's no longer painful. I really hope it will heal soon.

So what causes Mouth sore?

I got my mouth sore when I ate a very very hot ramen which burned the inside of my mouth, it caused some reaction which resulted to mouth sore..

• bite your tounge,cheek, lip
• have irritation from sharp object, such braces, retainerr, or dentures
• brush your teeth too hard, or use a very firm toothbrush
• chew tobacco
• are infected with the herpes simplex virus.

You may also be prone to them due to:

• a weakened immune system because of illness or stress
• hormone changes
• a vitamin deficiency, especially of folate and B-12
• intestinal issues, such as Crohn's disease or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

If you don't have Canker available, and its the middle of the night, and the sore is just so painful, maybe you can try these Two home remedies that I do.

1. TAWAS (Potassium Alum or Alum) - If you have this laying around the house, you can use this to cure your mouthsore. Just put this directly on the problem area, but just be warned that this method is super super sayan painful (super sayan 3 level!) but is also super super effective. I used this method before and I was crying the whole time I was doing this but after that, the sore was healed the next day. I just had to level up my endure skill to cope up with the pain.. 
2. Salt diluted in water - Yes, you can use this method. Just dilute salt in a glass of water, no measurements required, just preference. The saltier the better. This method is not painful as number 1, but will also take a few days to heal the sore.. but if you can't take the pain of solution number 1, you can opt to follow this step. :)

So there you have it, my mouth sore story and how I was able to cure it, and also some other methods you can try at home ;)
