Travel Blog: HongKong, My First Travel...Abroad!!!

Hi! Welcome back! :D
This is a super late post.... not really sure why I posted this just now... been contemplating alot on how I should do this, but oh well. here it goes..

We went to Hongkong last Sept 9, It is actually my first time travelling outside the country.. Yey! and I was super super excited! I wasn't able to sleep the night before.. and adding to that, our flight was super early (7AM) with Air Asia, which is located at Clark Airport were we have to travel for 2 hours to get there. But traveling with friends is one of the highlight of this flight.

Here is our Itinerary or the activities we did during the trip (what I remembered it to be.. :D)

DAY 1:

  • Travel from Manila to Clark (Air Asia)
  • Arrive in HongKong - Got lost... then found our Hotel (after a long walk and taxi ride)
    • Note: Once you arrive at HK airport, avail the unlimited MTR ride for 4 days, it has 1 free bus ride.. I think..
    • Taxi in HK are expensive, it's better to take the MTR, it's faster and fun.
  • Checked in at Harbour Hotel - located at Mongkok
    • We booked our hotel at agoda, it has discounts and stuffs there.. much easier..
  • After our rest, we went to hunt for our Day 1 dinner.. hahaha..
    • We ate at Xiao Long Bao resto.. it's near the area..
  • Did a little tour of the City.
    • Went to Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui
  • We walked until our feet hurts then went back to our hotel.
DAY 2:
  • OCEAN PARK Adventures
    • We spent our whole day here, rides, fishes, animals... creatures.. hahahaha
    • It's advisable to bring some food and water.. the food there is expensive..
  • Dinner at Sushi restaurant - forgot the name but the food was amazingly delicious if you are a sushi lover...
  • Walked around the city, went to Ladies Market to look at stuffs then we went back to the hotel.
DAY 3:
  • City Gate!!! The super fun part... Shopping!! wohoo!
    • We shopped until we had no money left to spend.. hahaha.. lol
    • This is an outlet store, so everything here is cheaper.... Everything is branded... from shoes to other stuffs..
      • I saw Adidas, Lacoste, Nike, Rockport, Giordano, Esprit, Body shop, Kate spade... many many more.
    • And Pleasse don't forget to go to the 10th floor of the Mall... they have a lot of other brands there..
    • Food here is also great and a lot to choose from...
    • This is also near the airport, so you can go here first before you checkin to your hotel or go here before you go to the airport... which ever you want.... One bus away...
  • Bought some pasalubong on our way to the hotel... we actually preferred to buy the food for pasalubong at the grocery store.. much cheaper there..
DAY 4:
  • It was time to bid farewell to the city..
  • Check out at 6AM, 'cause out flight is at 9AM.

Here are some pictures of our trip:
Just arrived at HK airport

The start of our long adventure to our hotel - Harbour Hotel, Mongkok

DAY 2: Ocean Adventures..lots of fish and other animals..

Our tour with ocean adventures ended with a beautiful musical fountain display.

Here is a few shot of our food adventure.. There were a lot of good food in HK. I specially liked sushi place and Ramen.

Of course, this trip wouldn't be complete without buying some good quality makeup (I will do a separate blog about this.)

Our last day.. bidding farewell to our room.. I had a picture with my roomies in the elevator just before we left.. hehehe

There were alot of view to see, and cheap shopping place.. and commuting was super easy..

In total, I spent PHP 25240, this is excluding the airfare.

It was a great experience being in HongKong.. great food, great place.. I would really love to go back here again, maybe next year.. In God's will.

Hope you had fun reading! :D
