Hello! Thank you for coming back to my blog.. Here is my 2nd week blog post of the MP School of makeup. This experience is a blast. I have learned a lot from this school and I think I have improved in how I apply my makeup.
Here are the before and after photos of my Week 2 at MP School of Makeup.
Day 6: Smokey Eyes
Model: Jo
I see a lot of different smokey eyes, specially in youtube, different colors are combined to create that perfect smokey eye look. Here in MP, we were taught that when you say smokey eye, its just a one color that is blended until it creates that smokey effect. With my model, I chose the dark brown color, perfect to wear during the day. I blended the colors a little upwards, since she has a deep set eyes, I had to blend the color a little over the crease, so the color will still show even with the eyes open.
Model: Princess
I still have a love and hate relationship with black color, they can make or break the eye look. With this makeup look, we were asked to use only black color even on the lips. I was afraid to use all black color, cause it's messy and hard to fixed you messed up. The instructor was so good in teaching us the correct technique on how to create the black and white look, and In the end, I was able to create my first black and white look with out messing it up :)
Model: Junalyn
In this look, since we are doing color photography, we need to be clean and precised with the makeup application, colors should co-relate with each other. we were asked to do the closed corner technique and I chose the white and brown color. This is perfect for day look or even on weddings. A very simple makeup look.
Day 9: Dramatic Look
Model: Apple
I am so glad my cousin agreed to be my model for the day. She has a perfect skin so no concealing required, I moved to foundation and eyes. Since the eyes is the center of attention for this look (dramatic), we need to create a flawless canvass and lighter shade of foundation to make the eyes stand out more. I chose the colors plum, blue and black for that very dramatic effect. I only lacked lashes and this look may have become even more dramatic than it is. I chose red for the lips, cause its more beautiful that way. You can still pull off red lipstick with a dramatic eyes :)
Day 10: High Fashion Makeup
Model: Belle
Belle is my office-mate and also my model during my previous workshops. I am kinda familiar with her skin color, type and shape. For this look, we were taught the basic High Fashion Look. Ms Yuki was amazing in teaching us how to do the first step in doing a fairy-butterfly-like look, which we can use in the future. With High Fashion makeup, you need a flawless application of foundation to create a flawless look, with Belle, since she has a nice skin, I just applied a foundation that is close to her skin color. I also chose the color green, cause I like that color and It matches well with pink lips.
There you go for my Before and After Pics of Week 2 at MP School. Next week, I will be posting my remaining 3 days with this awesome school. My class will end this Wednesday, August 20.
Thanks again for the visit! Have a nice day! :)
